Pipe V50

This pipe is interesting in that I incorporated a very orderly pattern into the rustication, which generally is a very disorderly finish. I think the mixture of the carefully arranged lines and the random nature of the rustication make for a striking pipe. This is one that will get many second looks and comments wherever it goes. All the lines radiate from a point just above where the shank meets the bowl. It reminds me of a spider web. Nice thick silver band on the shank. Stem is handmade from acrylic I cast myself and has very subtle streaks and shading and also a little bit of orange. Tenon is delrin. Stem is pretty thin so this might not be the best pipe for a clencher. Pipe is 6 1/2 inches long and weighs 66 grams. Tobacco chamber is 13/16 inch across and 1 1/2 inches deep.
