Pipe C52
This rustication is deeper than the pictures show. Many small craters going deep into the pipe, especially around the rim and top of the bowl. This is the first time I have used this rustication and I am quite pleased, even if it isn't photogenic, and I will use this style again. This is a short wide pipe with thick walls and a thick shank and stem. Silver band is nearly an inch across and has a brushed type satin finish. I cast the stem acrylic myself and it is a mix of very dark blue with clear and white. The button end of this handmade stem shows the blue color. Tenon is delrin. Pipe is 6 1/4 inches long and weighs 76 grams. Tobacco chamber is 1 1/8 inches deep and 7/8 inch across.
