Wild freehand with coal black rustication and a smooth orange bowl. I think this is the absolute best color combination for a pipe like this.  Stem is black acrylic with a delrin tenon. Tenon end of stem is actually a dark pearlescent orange and can be seen peeking through a window I carved on each side of the shank. It's not real noticeable but you can see it in some of the pictures. Tobacco chamber is 1 1/4 inches deep and 3/4 inch across. Pipe is 6 3/4 inches long and weighs 74 grams. Bowl is 2 inches tall. As this pipe is truly unlike anything I have done before it presented me with a few new finishing challenges, but all turned out well and I had a lot of fun with the making of this pipe.
